South Kent School is proud to introduce LifeLab, a groundbreaking program that helps boys build lives of purpose with confidence and clarity. Drawing from Stanford’s Life Design framework, LifeLab guides students through a year-long process of self-discovery, exploration, and career readiness.
Led by Life Design experts in partnership with South Kent advisors, students use tools such as design-thinking exercises, reflection journals, and strengths assessments to better understand who they are and how to chart their own futures. Alumni, community leaders, and professionals join throughout the year to provide mentorship and real-world perspective.
LifeLab includes experiential opportunities like alumni engagement, career shadowing in New York City, and project-based “prototyping” of possible futures. The program ensures that every South Kent boy graduates not only prepared for college, but ready to design a meaningful, adaptable path forward.
At South Kent, LifeLab gives students the mindset, tools, and networks they need to thrive in a rapidly changing world.
