Sarge Pickman ’79

Sarge’s artistic talents emerged at a young age. At just six years old, he stunned his family when he sat at a piano and effortlessly played songs from his favorite musical, entirely by ear. By the age of seven, his destiny was already taking shape. He delighted his family with his natural gift for comedy, entertaining them with jokes and impressions of his favorite comedians. Today, he stands as a nationally renowned stand-up comedy headliner. He has graced some of the world’s most revered stages, from the iconic Radio City Music Hall to bringing laughter to troops stationed in Iraq. Sarge attributes his remarkable success to what he calls the three SKS pillars: Simplicity of Life, Self-Reliance and Directness of Purpose.
