Alumni Showcases Sustainable Agriculture

South Kent School  has always prided itself on nurturing future leaders in various fields, and one such standout is Tyler Hoadley, a 2015 SKS alum.

In the April 2024 issue of Litchfield Magazine, Tyler and his wife Haley, were featured for their remarkable efforts in sustainable agriculture on the Hoadley Hills Farm. Tyler’s journey from South Kent School to becoming a pioneer in sustainable agriculture is inspiring. He credits his time at SKS, particularly his experience in the Sustainable Agriculture class at the North Campus, for sparking his interest in regenerative farming practices. It was this foundation that laid the groundwork for his career path focused on sustainable agriculture.

South Kent School Alumni is highlighted in Litchfield Magazine for Sustainable Agriculture Efforts and Invites Students to Tour & Learn More.

Recently, Tyler and Haley, invited South Kent’s students along with the Food Studies and Environmental Science classes to tour the Hoadley Hills Farm.  On the tour they shared invaluable insights into sustainable farming methods.
