In the April 2024 issue of Litchfield Magazine, Tyler and his wife Haley, were featured for their remarkable efforts in sustainable agriculture on the Hoadley Hills Farm. Tyler’s journey from South Kent School to becoming a pioneer in sustainable agriculture is inspiring. He credits his time at SKS, particularly his experience in the Sustainable Agriculture class at the North Campus, for sparking his interest in regenerative farming practices. Recently, Tyler and Haley, invited South Kent’s students along with the Food Studies and Environmental Science classes to tour the Hoadley Hills Farm. On the tour they shared invaluable insights into sustainable farming methods. Students were immersed in the world of regenerative agriculture, learning about soil health, crop rotation, and the importance of environmental stewardship.
