Military Service Record: Peter Raymond ’64 Navy
Peter Raymond entered the US Naval Reserve at Pensacola, FL flight school on December 3, 1968, and was commissioned on April 14, 1969. After deciding to leave the flight program, he served as a rowing coach at the U.S. Naval Academy until April 1971, achieving the rank of Lieutenant, Junior Grade.
At South Kent School, Peter was a Form Secretary, and competed in Crew, Football and Hockey for three years. He also participated in the Glee Club, Dramatics and Selections.
