South Kent School is honored to welcome back Michael Brown as we honor Martin Luther King Day with an all-school Holy Eucharist service. This special event will take place at St. Michael’s Chapel at 5:30 pm on Monday, January 20th.
Michael Brown is a renowned musician and choir director, leading Gospel choirs at Sacred Heart University and The Hotchkiss School. He also serves as the organist at the First Congregational Church in Litchfield. A cherished member of our extended community, Michael has been sharing his exceptional talents with South Kent School for celebration services in St. Michael’s Chapel for the past 15 years.
This year, Michael will lead the music for our Martin Luther King Day Eucharist, bringing his inspiring artistry to this meaningful occasion. We invite our Hillside community to join us in honoring Dr. King’s legacy through music, reflection, and celebration of unity and hope. Formal dinner will follow the 5:30pm service.
We gather to honor Dr. King’s teachings and reflect on the principles of justice, unity, and service that further inspire the values of our School.
