Inspired by the success of our Parent Association, Friends of South Kent will be a dynamic network of local supporters—business owners, civic leaders, families, and neighbors—who share an interest in engaging with and advancing the mission of our school.

Deepen Local Connections
We’ll keep our local supporters informed and engaged through regular updates, event invitations, and opportunities to contribute to student life and learning on the Hillside.
Collaborate on Pathway Events
We welcome local professionals, entrepreneurs, and leaders to participate in our Pathways program—offering talks, workshops, and mentorship that inspire and guide our students.
Expand Community Participation
From Giving Day to student showcases, Bringhurst Pathways Panels to Open Houses, athletic competitions, and North Campus celebrations—Friends of South Kent will have many ways to show up, cheer on, and contribute.
Strengthen Strategic Partnerships
We look forward to working alongside organizations like the Kent Chamber of Commerce, Park and Recreation, Lions Club, CERT, Kent Land Trust, the Kent Historical Society, and others. Together, we can create shared value for students and the community alike.
Friends of South Kent is more than a program—it’s a bridge between the Hillside and the greater Kent area. It’s how we expand our network, create real-world opportunities for students, and celebrate the deep ties we hold to this special place we call home.
