Born on August 2nd 1942 in New England, skier, patrolman and eventually ski instructor in Stowe, Vermont, Peter soon became a ski rep for Salomon in New York City and Connecticut.
Co-founder of RealSkiers.com, Peter Keelty, died Feb. 5, 2019 in Salt Lake City, Utah, from complications of emphysema. He was a beloved mountain guide, gear tester, and boot guy. Keelty was the longtime editor of RealSkiers before retiring to instruct out on the hill.
