MacGregor John Gentleman III, 59, of Sebring, FL, passed away on April 19, 2025. Born in Des Moines, Iowa on August 25, 1965 Mac was known for his exceptional culinary skills, a sense of humor that brightened any room, and his deep devotion to his family.
He graduated from South Kent School in Connecticut and went on to hone his culinary prowess at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, France. Mac was an amazing chef, a great father, and a loving husband. He brought joy and laughter to all who knew him.
Mac leaves behind his loving wife, Amanda Gentleman; daughter, McKenzie (Steve) Strickland; son, MacGregor Gentleman IV; sisters, Karen (Mike) Gentleman, Marcia Gentleman, and Katherine (Scott) Puettman; and brother Brooks (Kelly) Gentleman. He was preceded in death by his parents, MacGregor John Gentleman Jr. and Julia Gentleman.
A private service to celebrate Mac’s life was held on April 25th at Oak Ridge Funeral Care in Winter Haven, Fl. MacGregor’s legacy of love, laughter, and culinary mastery will be cherished and remembered by all who were fortunate to know him.
