
Craig Ehleider passed away peacefully on January 3rd surrounded by close friends and family after losing his battle to cancer. Craig was born in Poughkeepsie in 1949 and graduated from South Kent school where he starred on both the football and rowing teams. He continued his passion for sports and physical activity at Colorado College, where he played on the football team and competed in golden gloves boxing. Upon graduation, Craig started his career in the fitness industry where he managed several fitness centers out west before finally settling in New Jersey as the founder and CEO of several of his own fitness facilities. Craig was a true pioneer and innovator in the industry and used his vast knowledge in both physical and mental well-being to change many peoples’ lives. He is survived by his 2 sisters Anne Kainen of NH and Beth Savage of VT as well as his long time girlfriend Bridgette Cassidy of NJ. A private ceremony will be held for close family and friends at a later date.
