Jacob Fowler was born and raised in Melbourne, Florida, as he played his youth hockey in the Sunshine State. As a member of the Florida Alliance, Fowler began to play at an elite level, saving over 93% of shots faced. In the fall of 2020, he joined the Hillside ready to raise his game, which he did and then some. Jacob Fowler had two stellar seasons at South Kent, giving up less than two goals a game and nearly saving 94% of shots.

As a result, Fowler earned himself a bid to sign with the Youngstown Phantoms to play junior hockey. He saved 92.3% of his shots in 58 games, garnering a lot of attention from college scouts. After a period of deciding between schools, Fowler chose to attend Boston College for the 2023-24 season. As an Eagle, Jacob Fowler has an incredible stat line of 2.22 goals against average and a 92.3% save percentage, leading the Eagles to a 25-5-1 record. He has been an instrumental piece to the squad who has been ranked #1 for most of the year, as they look to win an NCAA Championship. While at Boston College, Fowler also competed with the USA U20 team at the World Junior Championships, winning all 3 games he played and bringing home the gold medal.
