Third Form Gets Spooky
It is often heard that one of the best things about being a faculty resident at South Kent School is raising a family. Faculty children have about 175 big brothers to play with, cheer on during athletic contests, read with, eat meals together and even get spooked by.
The Third Form, the youngest members of the academic community at South Kent School are doing just that. In an effort to give back to the community and serve a little Halloween treat to the faculty children, the Third Form is creating a haunted house.
Children of all ages were welcomed; however, the early wave of the haunted house is geared toward the youngest children saving the spooky boo’s for some of the “older” ones.
“The Third Form has done a great job this fall,” said Kelli Darrin, Third Form Dean. “Being away from home for the first time can be difficult and creating some family-fun helps bring everyone closer together. They are doing a great job and are having a lot of fun while bringing a lot of smiles to the faculty children’s faces,” she added.
