Gifts to South Kent School's annual appeal, the South Kent Fund, help make SKS the treasured school it is today. Gift-giving is now easier with the online giving form. Other ways to give
South Kent School welcomes any size gift. Checks should be made payable to South Kent School and may be sent directly to the Development Office, 40 Bull’s Bridge Road, South Kent, CT 06785. Gifts may also be made with credit cards (American Express, MasterCard, Visa or Discover) by calling 860-927-3539 x206 or by using our online form. Electronic Funds Transfer may also be used. The transfer number is the number located across the bottom of your check.
Matching Gifts
Many companies will match a contribution made by an employee (including a spouse). Ask your employer if they have such a program and, if so, obtain the proper form to forward to South Kent School. The donor receives credit for both the original gift and the amount of the match.
Gifts of Securities
You may find that you can give more to South Kent School at less cost to you by contributing securities that are worth more now than when you bought them. For appreciated securities, a benefit to the donor is to the avoidance of capital gains tax. If you have depreciated securities, it may be to your advantage to sell your securities and give the proceeds to South Kent School. You receive the charitable deduction for the cash gift and may be eligible for a capital loss.

Memorial/Honor Gifts
